When the three people have succeeded in climbing out on the porch roof,what they can see are only the chimneys and antennas on top of the roofs,the wire poles in front of the houses and the trees in back of the houses.With no boat available nearby,they have to wait patiently for the rescue team.At the sight of a rescue helicopter,they become overjoyed,waving to it as it approaches.The helicopter crew have spotted them and prepared a cable to lower to them,which will raise them to the plane by means of a lifting device.

The three people will soon be rescued.Yet,it is evident that nearly all of their belongings have been ruined by the flood.
